Hardware Encrypted Thumb Drive

Published by Bryan at 3:47 pm under Gadgets

Padlock Thumb DriveI have not seen one of these before. It is a thumb drive with hardware encryption. Basically, to access the data on the drive, you have to enter a PIN. I am not sure how secure this is. However, it is an interesting concept.

How about this one with fingerprint recognition?

Fun until the user forgets the pin. Add a pin number to the dozen different passwords - just what I need. I can hear my boss now, “Your reviews are on my thumb drive, I just can’t remember the pin.”
